Throughout the second quarter of 2024, the performance of the top 5 communication apps on the Android platform in Serbia showcased interesting trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals detailed insights into weekly downloads and revenue for these popular applications.

Taktak experienced a fluctuating download trend. Beginning the quarter with 39.9K downloads in the first week of April, the numbers dipped to 12.6K by the end of May. However, a recovery was noted in June, reaching 19.7K in the week of June 17.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a relatively stable download rate. Starting at 14.3K in early April, it saw minor fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with 12.5K in the last week of June.

Rakuten Viber Messenger showed consistent weekly downloads, maintaining an average of around 10K. The app also saw notable revenue growth, peaking at approximately $976 in the final week of June, up from around $507 in early April.

Telegram had a steady performance in downloads, starting at 9.4K and ending the quarter with 8.3K. Revenue for Telegram showed a gradual increase, reaching $727 by late June from $462 at the beginning of April.
